Features: Company Loop allows companies to create small social communities around the company. Users can log in and credit go workers for a job well done, stay up to date on what is going on with the company, and share content.
Review: This site was started more as an academic project than a business with a long term goal. I have to say though I really like this concept. As social tools get leveraged more and more for internal communications that strengthen the company and the inner workings of a team a social tool like this provides value.
Do I think that this has the feature set and the width of what these social tools can be used for? Not really. I think it would be great if some of the online collaboration software that is out there that companies use like Basecamp and Zoho added some of the social elements you find here.
