Chris is one of the founders of Convertiv, a socially empowered customer engagement agency he launched four years ago to help
enterprises use social business strategies to transform how they market their brands. Since its founding, Chris has led the company to consecutive years of record sales and client growth from a self-funded beginning.
Chris started his career leading business development for the New York office of Collaborative Consulting, an enterprise-class business and technology strategy firm. He was part of delivery and new business development for global brands such ad J&J, Pfizer, Merrill Lynch and Cadbury Schweppes.
With a hands-on approach to client service, Chris brings strategic thinking, market analysis and enablement of social technologies. He has created a culture of innovation at Convertiv providing transparency and taking the guesswork out of social business strategy – helping global brands understand their return of investment – through the cyclical measures of awareness to revenue.
When asked why he founded Convertiv, he answers, “We’re at an inflection point and we feel social communications can be the dial tone of the web in the not-to-distant future. There is tremendous power in social media marketing and we’ve got a team of people who have figured it out and are great at getting things done in parallel with other brand efforts.”
Kevin has been an early adopter, strategist, author and thought leader of social media since 2004 and has monetized its value for consumer brands utilizing integrated marketing practices and technology-enabled digital media.
Kevin studied digital media at the University of Buffalo while leading social initiatives at Awareness. In 2008, Kevin launched the consulting firm Social Media Answers (SMA) which served digital strategy to global brands such as Harrah’s and startups like The Clymb and merged with Convertiv in 2010.
As a world-renowned multi-site developer of WordPress, Kevin has been active in the building awareness of the enterprise platform including speaking engagements with WordCamp Chicago / Boston and WordPress groups in Portland. Kevin was a contributing technical editor for WordPress for Dummies and a contributing author for WordPress All in One.
When asked what makes Convertiv unique, Kevin answers, “Convertiv’s center is really about leveraging the powerful combination of technology, marketing, and big data to develop solutions that unify a brand experience. We create technologically enabled digital programs that attract, engage and convert customers for maximum profitability – and that’s simply awesome.”
