Lemonade the Movie

I had the good fortune to watch the new Internet film Lemonade by Erik Proulx last night.  My hat’s off to him for dedicating himself to such a wonderful cause.  The film brings into perspective the rapidly changing scene on Madison Avenue, through the lens of the creative people who were laid off.  It takes you into their heads to explore how they turned this profound tragedy into a rebirth …

Google Voice: One Number Rings All

As Google continues its exploration to own the life cycle of the mobile consumer.  Yesterday, they announced a web app for the iPhone and Palm WebOS devices.  I’ve been running Google Voice for months and this new web app is a tremendous upgrade and brings the experience full circle.  This is a great example of how an HTML5 app can provide fast and flexible service directly over the mobile web. …

Social Media and Politics

When last Tuesday’s special election for the Massachusetts Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for almost 50 years went to a little known Republican, there was little doubt his excellent use of social channel contributed to his historic win.  Since the blockbuster win by President Obama in 2008, it’s certainly not politics as usual when it comes to putting together a well oiled social strategy during the campaigning process and …
