Social Advertising Specialist

Social Media Advertising Specialist to manage the day-to-day execution of purchasing media across social channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. This role needs a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for cross channel paid social strategy including planning for and managing budgets. This role is also heavily analytical and includes regular reporting and strategic optimizations to ensure each campaign delivers against the appropriate key performance indicators and drives conversions.

Essential Functions: 

  • Work with the digital team to plan and execute social media advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients. This includes selection of the appropriate social channel mix, ad formats, copy, and imagery
  • Manage promotions and social ad campaigns
  • Manage budget line items for social media programs to ensure budget is being spent effectively and efficiently throughout the month
  • Measure and thoroughly analyze the impact of paid social campaigns and report back to the internal team and/or client on effectiveness and proposed optimizations

Qualifications & Education: 

  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in an interactive field including specific experience implementing social strategy and managing paid social campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or relevant field
  • Highly analytical and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs
  • Strong familiarity with online marketing best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of a broad range of digital marketing technologies and methods to drive traffic to brand and ecommerce sites
  • Experience with social media analytics platforms
  • Basic experience with Photoshop
  • Proven track record running paid media on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social network platforms, generating positive ROI
  • Analytics and SEO experience preferred
  • Search and ecommerce marketing experience a plus
  • A strong understanding of digital content, communication and marketing principles
