Role responsibilities
➔ Organize and combine raw data from different sources
➔ Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
➔ Prepare data for descriptive and predictive modeling
➔ Develop, manage, and optimize big data architectures and pipelines
➔ Evaluate business needs and objectives
➔ Conduct complex data analysis to interpret trends and patterns and effectively report on results
➔ Develop custom data models and algorithms
➔ Identify opportunities for data acquisition
➔ Develop analytical tools and processes that help monitor and analyze performance and data accuracy
➔ Assist with dashboard development
➔ Leverage predictive modeling to optimize targeting, revenue generation, customer experiences, and more
➔ Collaborate with team members on several projects
Applicant requirements
➔ Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related quantitative field
➔ Previous experience as a data engineer, data scientist or in a similar role
➔ Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
➔ Hands-on experience with AWS data-related services and infrastructure as code approaches
➔ Experience with BI tools and visualizing data (e.g., Sisense, Tableau, etc.)
➔ Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, R)
➔ Hands-on experience with SQL database design
➔ Strong mathematical and analytical skills
➔ Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical team
Additional skills and proficiencies
➔ Familiarity with Project Management, Collaboration, and Productivity Tools
➔ Remote working experience
